Our background
IDEATE was founded in the mid 1990s, rooted in a shared ambition to tell stories through space. Their early work wasn't for museums but for municipalities. These were projects without collections, curators, or even buildings.
Founded by Herman Kossmann and Mark de Jong in 1995, we have over 30 years of experience in the wit.
In 2023, Kossmanndejong welcomed three new partners. Robert van der Linde, Bembe Bijlsma and Niels deJong. Together with a dedicated team of over 30 colleagues, they are leading the studio into its next chapter, building on a strong foundation.
